Management of the Quality Division in an AL plant organization with the following errorareas of focus and responsibility:
Prevention:
All quality actions from the start of a new product development in respect of both product and processes.
Cooperation with project organizations and customers across different locations.
Operative
All quality actions from start-up of series deliveries to a customer. This includes product quality surveillance,
support for the production department / plant organization in quality-relevant questions, identification of internal
problems for products and processes and their remedy together with the specialist departments. Contact partner to
customers and Central Quality Management in the event of quality problems and complaints.
Methods and QM management
Further development and updating of the existing QM system, organization and execution of internal system and
process audits as well as customer audits and certifications. Plant quality reporting and reporting to Central Quality
Management. Internal training sessions relating to Q methods in all the plant divisions.
Supplier quality assurance
Execution of technical receiving inspections and reduction of technical complaints, improvement of supply quality in
cooperation with the Purchasing Department, process audits on suppliers’ premises.(Supplier development falls
within the responsibility of Purchasing)
